Mulier studio designs wax objects that can also be lit. Every piece starts from a specific form and is made to stay intact or change with fire. We design the object first and then watch how it responds to burning: how it opens, spills or holds its structure. That behaviour finishes defining each design. The pieces are made by hand, one by one, in Madrid.

Wax is worked as a sculptural material. Volume, proportion, texture and color build a form meant to exist at rest too.

Fire brings out a second form. Once lit, the piece slowly changes silhouette and each design develops its own transformation.
