Roce is a sculptural candle made with our olfactory interpretation of baobab: dried petals, resin and sun-bathed wood. It's made of two volumes that meet and rest against each other, creating a simple, compact shape. Each piece is hand-shaped and finished in Madrid. The slight variations between one piece and another are part of its character. Burning gradually reshapes its silhouette, turning transformation into part of the experience. As these are handmade pieces, their dimensions and features are approximate.
Material & process
Each piece is hand-shaped from our own original, reproduced by mould, poured, unmoulded and individually finished by hand in Madrid. The variations between units come from that manual process.
Made with a blend of soy wax and a small proportion of mineral wax to ensure the stability of the piece.
Preparation & shipping
Preparation: 1-2 business days. Delivery in Spain: 24-72h.
Returns
Returns accepted within 14 days if the piece hasn't been used.
How to light it
Trim the wick to 5 mm before each use. Place it on a heat-resistant surface, away from draughts. Do not leave it burning for more than 2 hours at a time or unattended.
Trim the wick to a height of 1 cm beforehand so it burns correctly.
Forms open to time. They can stay intact or slowly change through fire.
